As I sit here in the silence
The silence of the room
My dads sitting there on the sofa
Guess what....he's drinking again
He starts to mutter something
I sit there silent and still
He throws something straight at me
His throw is so precise
And with that one swift moment
My world is plummeted into darkness

As I sit her in the darkness
The darkness of my room
I think about my life
And all the shit that I've been through
My mum left us when I was 9
And now I'm stuck with dad
His drinking has gotten worse and worse
He drinks 4 bottles of vodka a day
What happens when he pops his clogs?
I'll probably be left here on my own again

As I sit here on my own
On my own with my blade
I look at my arm and sigh
I know I'm going to do it again
This is the only way I can remember living
With scars all over me, inside and out
I cannot remember life before
My mind just filled with darkness
My thoughts turn to how shit life has gotten
And how I'm going to end it

As I sit here bleeding
Bleeding from my wrists
I think of all the friends I could have had
If it hadn't come to this
The room is getting darker
And I find it hard to breathe
I lay back on my sweat soaked bed and close my eyes
And try not to scream
But what if this is all a dream?
I'll still have to wake up tomorrow to the pain of life again
